Taxonomy
Chlororhysis incomptus was named by Bown and Rose (1984). Its type specimen is YPM 24997, a mandible (fragment of right dentary with p3-4 and root of p2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is YPM 258, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.
