Taxonomy
Citrus linczangensis was named by Xie et al. (2013). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Institute of Paleontology and Stratigraphy, Lanzhou University, LUMCD090206-022A&B, a leaf. Its type locality is Bangmai Coal Mine, Zhongzhai, Lincang, which is in a Miocene terrestrial mudstone/siltstone in the Bangmai Formation of China.
