Taxonomy
Bambusium latifolia was named by Wang and Zhou (2013). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, SZT0009b-1, a leaf. Its type locality is Sanzhangtian, Zhenyuan, which is in a Miocene fluvial sandstone in the Dajie Formation of China.
