Taxonomy
Bambusium latipseudopetiolus was named by Wang and Sun (2014). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Institute of Palaeontology and Stratigraphy, Lanzhou University, JH-149, a leaf. Its type locality is Jiahu, Tiantai, which is in a Miocene fluvial mudstone in the Shengxian Formation of China.
