Buxus pliosinica
Taxonomy
Buxus pliosinica was named by Huang et al. (2018). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Kunming Institute of Botany, PC2015029, a leaf. Its type locality is Hongyuan, Yunhe, Heqing, which is in a Pliocene fluvial mudstone/sandstone in the Sanying Formation of China.
