Taxonomy
Euryale yunnanensis was named by Huang and Zhou (2015). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Kunming Institute of Botany, STB 028, a seed/fruit. Its type locality is Shuitangba, which is in a Baodean terrestrial claystone in the Zhaotong Formation of China.
