Plesiodasypus colombianus
Taxonomy
Plesiodasypus colombianus was named by Barasoain et al. (2022). Its type specimen is TAT34/TATAC46, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Near Villavieja, Tatacoa Sandstone Beds, which is in a Laventan fluvial sandstone in the La Victoria Formation of Colombia. It is the type species of Plesiodasypus.
