Cynarctus crucidens

Taxonomy
Cynarctus crucidens was named by Barbour and Cook (1914). Its type specimen is UNSM 2-2-11-13, a mandible (a right lower jaw, with nearly complete dentition ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Whitford's Quarry No. 2, which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in the Ash Hollow Formation of Nebraska.
