Teushentherium camaronensis
Taxonomy
Teushentherium camaronensis was named by Martínez et al. (2020). Its type specimen is MPEF-PV 2578, a partial skull (partial skull (palate and anterior snout) and mandible (horizontal rami) with almost complete dentition), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barrancas Blancas, which is in an Oligocene fluvial sandstone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Teushentherium.
