Taxonomy
Macaria procera was named by Koch and Berendt (1854). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (Berendt collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
It was recombined as Micaria procera by Dunlop et al. (2013); it was recombined as Myrmecorinna procera by Wunderlich (2022).
