Araripephasma reliquum
Taxonomy
Eoproscopia reliquum was named by Mendes et al. (2019). Its type specimen is LP/UFC CRT 2698, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Triunfo Quarry, Crato (LP/UFC collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Araripephasma.
It was recombined as Araripephasma reliquum by Ghirotto et al. (2022).
