Arctonyx rostratus
Taxonomy
Arctonyx rostratus was named by Matthew and Granger (1923). Its type specimen is AMNH 18393, a skull (skull lacking the zygomatic arches), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yen-ching-kao, which is in a Pleistocene/Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in China.
