Elwynella oreas
Taxonomy
Elwynella oreas was named by Rose and Bown (1982). Its type specimen is USGS 2351, a mandible (right dentary with incisor, M1-2, and alveoli for P3-4 and M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vass Quarry, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Aycross Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Elwynella.
