Merriam 1973 | Cerioid rugose corals possessing mature corallites with wide, almost wholly lonsdaieioid dis- sepimentarium, predominantly large dissepiments, and moderately wide to rather narrow, closely spaced, sagging tabulae without peripheral depression. Septa usually smooth, discontinuous peripherally as septal crests. In some mature corallites, septa greatly shortened or obsolete. |
