Tonopahella goldfieldensis
Taxonomy
Tonopahella goldfieldensis was named by Sundberg and McCollum (2003). Its type specimen is USNM 517665, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM 41992, Goldfield Hills, which is in a Delamaran offshore shelf siliciclastic in the Emigrant Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Tonopahella.
