Osteopygis kranzi
Taxonomy
Judithemys kranzi was named by Weems (2014). Its type specimen is CMM-V-4755, a partial skeleton (partial carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fort Washington Construction Site, which is in a Thanetian marine siliciclastic in the Aquia Formation of Maryland.
It was recombined as Osteopygis kranzi by Gentry et al. (2023).
