Taxonomy
Glaphyrophlebia semipenna was named by Aristov et al. (2022). Its type specimen is PIN 1700/522, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Chekarda, Sylva River (PIN collection 1700), which is in a Kungurian deltaic siliciclastic in the Koshelevka Formation of the Russian Federation.
