Deccananthus savitrii

Taxonomy
Deccananthus savitrii was named by Chitaley and Kate (1974). It is not extant. Its type locality is Mohgaon Kalan, which is in a Paleogene lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India. It is the type species of Deccananthus.
