Gomphandroxylon samnapurensis
Taxonomy
Gomphandroxylon samnapurensis was named by Bande and Khatri (1980). Its type specimen is BSIP 35313, a wood, and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Samnapur, which is in a Paleogene fluvial horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India.
