Taxonomy
Euloma (Plecteuloma) strix was named by Shergold (1975). Its type specimen is CPC 11835, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Euloma (Plecteuloma).

It was recombined as Plecteuloma strix by Shergold (1980).
