Taxonomy
Baharellinus orenburgensis was named by Aristov (2022). Its type specimen is PIN 5640/268, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Petropavlovka III (PIN collection 5640), which is in a Spathian pond siltstone in the Petropavlovka Formation of the Russian Federation.
