Piesbergptera niesseae
Taxonomy
Piesbergptera niesseae was named by Rosová et al. (2022). Its type specimen is Sowiak F 562, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Piesberg quarry, lacustrine deposit, which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine deltaic claystone in Germany. It is the type species of Piesbergptera.
