Osnabrugapteron rasnitsyni
Taxonomy
Osnabrugapteron rasnitsyni was named by Rosová et al. (2022). Its type specimen is Museum am Schölerberg PAL 1219, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Piesberg quarry,"Flöz Mittel" (Museum am Schölerberg collection), which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine deltaic claystone in the Flöz Mittel Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Osnabrugapteron.
