Taxonomy
Dohmiella prescheri was named by van Viersen (2006). Its type specimen is SMF 58594, an exoskeleton (thorax and pygidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kirberg Hill, which is in an Eifelian marine marl in the Nohn Formation of Germany.
