Taxonomy
Acastava lerougei was named by van Viersen (2013) [Paratypes: NHMM 2011006B, internal and external moulds of an incompletely exposed enrolled dorsal exoskeleton; NHMM 2011006C, a cephalon; NHMM 2011006D, a partial thoracopygon; all on the same rock slabs (counterparts) as the holotype. Specimens preserved as internal and external moulds; silicone casts created.]. Its type specimen is NHMM 2011006A, an exoskeleton, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Disused GrimbiƩmont quarry , which is in an Emsian marine siltstone in the Hierges-Hampteau Formation of Belgium.
