Spergenaspis salemi
Taxonomy
Spergenaspis salemi was named by Brezinski (1987). Its type specimen is CMNH 3443, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Railroad cut near Spergen Hill, which is in a Meramecian carbonate limestone in the Salem Formation of Indiana. It is the type species of Spergenaspis.
