Macrobole latipalpebrata sinensis was named by Yuan and Xiang (1998) [= part 1989 Archegonus (Phillibole) orientalis- Xiang: 121-122, p1.36, fig.6,]. Its type specimen is GPIN 96778, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Macrobole sinensis by Wagner (2020).
