Breviphillipsia semiteretis
Taxonomy
Breviphillipsia semiteretis was named by Hessler (1963) [= Phillipsia sp. Hessler, 1962b, pl. 176, figs. 5, 8]. Its type specimen is USNM 143112, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lake Valley, which is in an Osagean deep subtidal shelf wackestone in the Lake Valley Formation of New Mexico.
