Prohemerobius aequabilis was named by Bode (1953). It is an impression. It is the type species of Rasnitsyneura.
It was synonymized subjectively with Prohemerobius septemvirgatus by Ponomarenko (1995); it was recombined as Rasnitsyneura aequabilis by Makarkin et al. (2021).
