Taxonomy
Dechenella (Basidechenella) rowi arkonensis was named by Stumm (1953). Its type specimen is UMMP 25541 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Proetus arkonensis by Ludvigsen (1979); it was recombined as Basidechenella arkonensis by Lieberman (1994); it was recombined as Dechenella (Basidechenella) arkonensis by Wagner (2020).
