Mucophyllum mcintyrei
Taxonomy
Mucophyllum mcintyrei was named by Merriam (1972). Its type specimen is USNM 159453 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS. loc. M87, south side of Mallethead Ridge, Klamath Mountains, which is in a Ludlow reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Gazelle Formation of California.

Tabulae straight, thick, and closely spaced beneath flat-bottomed pit. Longer septa terminate at edge of tabularium. Stereozone vertically thickest below convex inflection of calice platform, thins peripherally to sharp rim. |
