Taxonomy
Brachymetopus woodlandi was named by Owens (1984) [= 1945 Brachymetopus sp., Stubblefield in Mitchell & Stubblefield, p. 47 (Table). = v. 1952 Brachymetopus sp. nov., Ramsbottom, p. 9.]. Its type specimen is BGS A W3438, AW3438a, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil.
