Kumimanu fordycei
Taxonomy
Kumimanu fordycei was named by Ksepka et al. (2023). Its type specimen is NMNZ S.47426, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hampden Beach, which is in a Paleocene marine horizon in the Moeraki Formation of New Zealand.
