Dicentrodus belemnoides
Taxonomy
Anodontacanthus belemnoides was named by Zidek (1978). Its type specimen is OUSM 00450 (spine) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Waurika #1 site, near Wichita Falls, TX , which is in a Pennsylvanian lacustrine - large horizon in the Oscar Formation of Oklahoma.
It was recombined as Dicentrodus belemnoides by Hampe (2003).
