Hoplictis grangerensis

Taxonomy
Beckia grangerensis was named by Bryant (1968) [genotype]. Its type specimen is LACM 10642, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Granger Clay Pit, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Ellensburg Formation of Washington. It is the type species of Beckia.

It was recombined as Ischyrictis grangerensis by Tedford et al. (1987); it was recombined as Hoplictis grangerensis by Baskin (1998).
