Barbarella stellaforma

Taxonomy
Plerophyllum (Barbarella) stellaforma was named by Flügel (1972). Its type specimen is UGP 2704 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kuh-e Bagh-e-Vang 64AR173, Shotori Mountains, Tabas, which is in a Kungurian marine carbonate in the Bagh-e Vang Formation of Iran. It is the type species of Plerophyllum (Barbarella).

It was recombined as Barbarella stellaforma by Ataei et al. (2019).
