Pseudoromingeria ignicula
Taxonomy
Pseudoromingeria ignicula was named by Niko (2009) [= [partium] Pseudofavosites sp., Tokai Fossil Society, 1974, pl. 7 figs. 2–4 [non pl. 7, fig. 1]]. Its type specimen is NSM PA16702 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Futatsuberi on the southern foot of Mt. Kinsho-zan, Akasaka-cho of Ogaki, which is in a Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm wackestone in the Akasaka Limestone Formation of Japan.
