Patagorhynchus pascuali
Taxonomy
Patagorhynchus pascuali was named by Chimento et al. (2023). Its type specimen is MPM-PV-23087, a tooth (right lower m2 attached to a fragment of dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Anita (Puma cave site), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial claystone in the Chorrillo Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Patagorhynchus.
