Protokateretes antiquus
Taxonomy
Eoceniretes antiquus was named by Peris and Jelínek (2019). Its type specimen is MGB 87961-1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (MGB coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Protokateretes.
It was recombined as Protokateretes antiquus by Zhao et al. (2023).
