Merycopotamus medioximus
Taxonomy
Merycopotamus medioximus was named by Lihoreau et al. (2004). Its type specimen is GSP Y13310, a partial skull (artial skull of a juvenile individual with preserved crowns of the right P4/ and M3/, and left M1/-M3/,), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSP Locality y312, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Dhok Pathan Formation of Pakistan.
