Jurassephemera zhangi
Taxonomy
Jurassephemera zhangi was named by Zhang et al. (2022). Its type specimen is NIGP180514, an exoskeleton (forewing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Xiwan outcrop, Pinggui district, which is in a Toarcian terrestrial mudstone in the Shiti Formation of China. It is the type species of Jurassephemera.
