Labidolemur soricoides
Taxonomy
Labidolemur soricoides was named by Matthew and Granger (1921). Its type specimen is A.M.N.H. No. 17400, a mandible (lower jaws with incisors, M1 right and left, and alveoli of remaining teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mason Pocket, which is in a Tiffanian fissure fill shale in Colorado. It is the type species of Labidolemur.
