Palaeophylolestes distinctus
Taxonomy
Palaeophylolestes distinctus was named by Doriath-Döhler et al. (2023). Its type specimen is MNT BDL 2002, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Menat (MNT collection), which is in a Selandian crater lake diatomite in the Menat Formation of France. It is the type species of Palaeophylolestes.
