Anachronornis anhimops
Taxonomy
Anachronornis anhimops was named by Houde et al. (2023). Its type specimen is USNM 496700, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Clark Quadrangle, which is in a Clarkforkian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Anachronornis.
