Saskomomys lindsayorum
Taxonomy
Saskomomys lindsayorum was named by Perry et al. (2023) [zoobank.org/4E722957-0808-4D79-9DAB-172C135C186B]. Its type specimen is RSM P1654.343, a tooth (right lower third molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Swift Current Creek, which is in an Uintan fluvial sandstone/conglomerate in the Cypress Hills Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Saskomomys.
