Derivation of name: The specific epithet is proposed after Dra. Silvia Csari, recognized Argentine Paleobotanist, for her many contributions to the palynology and palaeobotany of Argentina, mainly in late Paleozoic assemblages.

Taxonomy
Acylomurus silviae was named by Perez Loinaze et al. (2023). Its type specimen is MPM-Pal 21834-3:L45/0,, a microspore, and it is a 3D body fossil.
