Lutravus halli
Taxonomy
Lutravus halli was named by Furlong (1932) [genotype]. Its type specimen is CIT 478, a partial skull (an anterior portion of a skull with superior teeth represented, except the incisors and first premolars.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Thousand Creek Formation, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in the Thousand Creek Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Lutravus.
