Taxonomy
Carbonidelia gallica was named by Nel et al. (2023). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.A71369, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tante Victoire, which is in a Gzhelian terrestrial siliciclastic in France. It is the type species of Carbonidelia.
