Rhabdocupes oxypygus
Taxonomy
Notocupes oxypygus was named by Ponomarenko (1969). Its type specimen is PIN 1240/616, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Ketmen', PIN collection 1240, which is in a Carnian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Koldzat Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Zygadenia oxypyga by Kirejtshuk (2020); it was recombined as Rhabdocupes oxypygus by Strelnikova and Yan (2023).
