Ustatochoerus medius mohavensis
Taxonomy
Ustatochoerus medius mohavensis was named by Schultz and Falkenbach (1941) [named as subspecies of Ustatochoerus medius by Schultz andFalkenbach 1941; raised to species level; referral to Mediochoerus follows discussion of Skinner and Johnson 1984, p. 259; name also used by Kelly and Lander 1988, Lander 1998]. Its type specimen is F:AM 34464 and is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Mediochoerus mohavensis by Tedford et al. (1987), Stevens and Stevens (2007), Stevens et al. (2023).
